Sorry

No pictures of Grandparents day. I left the camera in the car. Oh well, Matthew had a great time with his Grandpa, and cousin Tyler.

Grandparents Day

Today is Grandparents Day at Matthew's school. He is so excited to show is grandpa his school, he can not wait to get there.
Nonno was suppose to come but he is extremely sick and could not make the trip. The disappointment in Matthew's face when I told him Nonno could not make it made me cry, I had to leave the room. So I got on the phone and Joe's dad is here and going to stand in for Nonno.
Nonno is going to try to come before school gets out or just after school starts so that he can see Matthew's school. I think he was a little disappointed he couldn't make it too.
Anyway, I will post pictures later.

36 year old freshman

Well, I have been accepted to college. I just have to get my immunization records and I will meet all the requirements for admissions. Well, let me tell you how hard it is to get these at age 36. I have to have blood drawn to find out what I have and have not had. That should be fun. I am going to do that on Thursday and then I will hopefully have more details as to when I start. I am going to take one class this summer to get my feet wet.

Happy as two pigs in ...

Well, this past weekend we finally finished fencing in the back yard. Well, all week the dogs have been in heaven running free in the back yard. Today the fire department came and opened the fire hydrant in front of our house, letting out a ton of water. So this is what I came home to this afternoon...







Apparently the fire department let out enough water to flood one side of our yard. Well, the dogs had a great time until they got scrubbed down.
And yes that is Matthew in the front of one of the pictures, he is currently in the tub soaking the mud off his body.
Talk about a mess!!! But at least they had fun.

First Soccer Game

Well, we had our first soccer game yesterday, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well my team played. Matthew had a couple of break aways, a three of my kids scored multiple goals to bring us to a 6-4 victory. I am so proud of Matthew, he has come so far with soccer and he really loves it.
My father in law and nephew came yesterday morning. Joe and his dad fenced in the back yard and Tyler and Matthew played outside all day. Matthew was so tired he crashed at 8:00.
I worked outside in the yard. I cleaned out our neighbor's (Miss Mary) flower beds and got them ready to plant, I dug up two bushes, cleaned out our flower beds and scrubs the bathrooms, made a lasagna, salad, bread, strawberry shortcake, and brownies. I also did the grocery shopping and 7 loads of laundry. I was about as exhausted as Matthew, Joe told me this morning that I was snoring by 8:45.
Today will be another day of doing stuff outside and getting all of my junk together for my yard sale.
I am so excited for Easter. I truly love Easter, it such a wonderful time to celebrate. Just one more week.

WHY?

Why is it that during the two weeks of spring break Matthew was up at 6:30 every morning, and now that we are back in school I can not get him to wake up. UGH! He is so much like me it is pitiful.
Yesterday morning I had a filling pop out, so I had to go to the doctor and spend $65.00 to have it replaced. That was money I really did not want to spend.

8 1/2 weeks until we go to Florida, I can not wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
