First injury

Well, Matthew got his first injury in gymnastics. Wednesday they were doing an obstacle coarse and he some how hurt his toe on the tumble track. No one saw it happen and his explanation is about as clear as Percy Priest lake or Long Island Sound. So we have no idea really what he did but since Wednesday he has been limping and complaining that it hurts. At first I thought he jammed it, but now I think that he just pulled the muscle in the toe and part of his foot.
Other than that things are going well here at Club Ward. I am so ready for warm weather, this cold has definitely worn out its welcome.
We have a busy weekend ahead of us so I will update early next week.

Future Gymnast

Yesterday Matthew had his first gymnastics class. He loved it!!! He got to jump on the tumble track, hang from the bar, and he learned a forward roll. He then told everyone at church last night that he takes gymnastics every Wednesday. Too bad his real class time will be Fridays. It was funny though, I walked in to the gym and Joe said "Did you know she worked here?" I said "Who?" He said "Her!" I looked in the gym area and there was my friend Julie. She has started working for this place and her son JT was in Matthew's class. Matthew was very excited to see someone he knew. Well congrats Julie on your new job. I am excited that you will be helping out with Matthew's class.

Lazy weekend

We really did not do much this weekend. Matthew did not have school on Friday because it was so cold. It was like 5 degrees on Friday, it was quite miserable. We got out to grocery shop and that is about it. Saturday we did absolutly nothing. Matthew changed from one pair of jammies to another. Sunday we got up and went to church, came home and watched football. Today I think we are going to go to Discovery Center after lunch.
Nonno (my dad, thats what Matthew calls him) got Matthew the complete set of Discovery's Blue Planet Series for Christmas. The child is obsessed. That is all he wants to watch all the time. Needless to say mommy and daddy are quite sick of Blue Planet!
We were suppose to go to a birthday party yesterday afternoon but we all fell asleep on the couch about 2pm and didn't wake up until 4pm.
Well, I guess thats all there is to tell right now. Sorry it is not more exciting. I will get the hang of this soon.
